FREE ENTRY. Our Festival of Talks is moving into bomber territory now and our first sortie with the Lancaster comes with Squadron Leader Mark Sugden of the BBMF. The BBMF is based at RAF Coningsby and is flown by regular serving RAF Aircrew. The Flight operates six Spitfires, two Hurricane Mk 2Cs, a Lancaster as well as a C47 Dakota and two Chipmunk aircraft. You will no doubt have seen them all in the skies recently practising formations such as the Trenchard. Don’t miss this opening foray into the WWII fighters and bombers. The pride of Bomber Country, Karen’s cakes and new addition, @SketchLisa’s “Trenchard Biscuits”! ¬†Surely this is not to be missed?
