Starting 2018.  Cake decorating with flair! We are limited to 10 places on this course, so make sure you book your place immediately. Teresa Buttress of the Wolds Cake Company will be taking you through the basis introductory steps towards beautiful cakes. Information on equipment needed below. Email to secure your booking. April/May:  25/04/2018 – 16/05/2018  4 weeks 

Week 1 How to make royal icing and best use of colour. The principals of piping to create a piped message and shell piping, how to create icing runouts.
Week 2 Painting on a runout, 2D modelling and cake design.
Week 3 How to level and marzipan a fruit cake, simple 3D modelling.
Week 4 How to professionally cover a fruit cake with sugar paste, cover a cake board, creating decorations for your design using techniques learned.
Decorate your fruit cake adding ribbon, piping and models
